Any cotton batting without scrim (warm & natural has scrim- some people do use it but it is not the easiest choice-and it is very heavy)
Hobbs cotton, dream cotton, Fairfield. And Mountain Mist are all common brands for hand quilting, and you want to choose a Low Loft variety
