Welcome from OHIO! We have been through Payson many times cutting through the beautiful mountains from Holbrook (rt 40) to Phoenix and south to rt 8. I have a Singer serger that was my mother's before it became mine and I've used it quite a bit in the sixteen years I've had it.. I've never had to change the cutting blade, but I know they sell replacement blades. I've never heard of anyone sharpening one.
