Thanks for sharing about the veering off to the left.....I thought it was just me with my machine. I have a older Singer but get very irritated with it when piecing long stripes together I feel like I have such an on going battle I can never sew a straight seam to save my life. I could never understand how the top name quilters on their blog videos and youtube could sew a long seam and zip along so quickly and barely holding onto the fabric. For me and the Espire I had to hold the fabric very firmly and angle it back to the right pretty strongly.
