After buying and returning a few irons, I settled on the Black and Decker Digital Advantage a few months ago. I use it mainly for my quilting. It's been wonderful. It's not too heavy but gets nice and hot pretty quickly. It doesn't leak. It uses tap water. It has a stainless steel plate. It has auto shutoff, but comes back up to your setting with the touch of a button so there's not a wait for it to reheat. I definitely recommend it.
