A lot of the paper pieced patterns look like the Mosaics, especially Jacqueline de Jonge's and some of Judy Niemeyers.

It will be fun to see what you decide to make.
norah McMeeking teaches a Craftsy class, "Precision Peicing". I've also seen her books and foundation piecing papers at JoAnns. Her quilts are on my to do list.
