I think now that the strip is going to be fine.
I just did a quick count of the blocks we have here. The quilt just grew a row.
We went over the 84 mark already and while I know most of the blocks are already here, I think there are still a few on the way. We haven't sewn ours here yet either. Anyway, great job of blowing the 40 square number I started with-and now the 84 square goal-out of the water everyone! I am very gratified and humbled by the generosity and support the members of our community have shown for this project.
Cari-in-Oly is going to use one of her embroidery machines to make the label for the quilt right on the border itself. Thank you Cari!
