That's a thought, call to arrange to come see it, but then cancel at the last minute, and then ask -since they pulled it out for you to look at, how about taking pictures of it now . . .

I'm going to bet it's a Rotary. I've seen way more of them in cabinets like this than the VSIII In fact, I've had a hard time finding White VS machines.
