That is what I use also. I found out they have it in a bottle with brush applicator now, also. Haven't tried the latter as yet. I use it mostly for applique, when I have a tight curve and too many cuts to make the turn. I put Fray Block along the curve after stitching, just for insurance.
I also use this product for all ravelly edges. The directions say to hold it under hot running water for three minutes. I heat a mug of hot water and put the tube in for the three minutes, and to reheat as it cools off.
