It's so hard when shopping for a much anticipated and loved little one! I've had the same problem shopping for grandkids. I couldn't even make all of the quilts for them that I purchased fabric for, it would have been way too much! I try to never total up my costs like you did, you're a brave woman
I'm going to start making donation quilts with the baby fabric. The youngest is now almost three and is into trucks and Spiderman and oh yes, I have found really cute Spidey and construction fabric. Here we go again!
