There is no starch in the potato vodka after it's processed. It doesn't matter which vodka you use so buy the cheapest you can find.
I make my own vanilla extract with vodka. I have to take a couple of ounces out of the bottle to fit the beans in so I use that for my spray. And it's a very common misconception that the vodka has starch. I see people referring to it all the time but very few mentioning that it has no starch once it's distilled or whatever. I don't think we'll ever dispel that false notion.
