I have a 206K, 2 306Ks, and a 319W. I like this series of machines quite a bit. The needles you'll need are 206x13 and are only made in 2 sizes (11 and 14?...not sure). Another option is to have the bobbin case machined to accept standard 15x1 needles. ManicMike has all the details!
Of all the Singer machines I've come across, these are the most quirky. They are also some of the coolest-looking. My 319 produces beautiful stitches (especially from the cam stack), though the motor is only a .53.
