Thank you for all the replies. I do believe I'll go with my first instinct. (that was after my initial heartbreak...) I thought I'd just pretend I wanted the blocks to be staggered. I'll keep re-reading these replies through the day and decide what to do about the uneven side. (It is the bottom on my picture but it's really the side) I'll definitely post pics when I'm done. I love when people show how the issue was resolved!
