Thank you ladies for all the answers! I am not going to quilt for a business, just wondered how to guesstimate when a relative asks for a price. Checking fabric kits is a good idea, and I have the Quilt Calc on my phone and never thought of it!! Thanks for the reminder, guess I had a duh! Moment.
