The base came with the machine. It needed a bit of repair when it arrived because the seller shipped the machine in the base and stressed out those two back joints. I used some Liquid Nails and hammered the nails back in and it's good as new.
Yeah, I think I paid $150.00 for the machine/base and another $27.00 or so for shipping. Well worth the cost.
I actually haven't sewn anything with it yet. I haven't had time.
