I know I've come to the right place & if there's an answer to my problem you'll be able to tell me if there's a solution. I've been reconditioning a 1908 Singer 27 treadle serial #D379918. I need a bobbin winder spring for it, (#8260 is what I've figured I need). I checked with Jenny @ Sew-Classic & they can't get me one new or used. Is there something I could substitute for it?
