I bought some from Target awhile ago. haven't used them
yet, they seem a bit thin, so might use them for redwork.
saw at a quilt show that a lday put a light bit of applique and
about 2 strands of hand emb floss on them. I use the towels
I get ar target the 2/$3 terry hand towels for my kitchen and do machine
emb on them. they hold up nicely for the kithen. Good luck
