Hats off to the new retirees!!
Coopah is so right!! In 1998, I retired after 33 years of teaching (mostly first grade). I still miss it but my time has been filled to the max. In my mom's words, "The community will grab you." And it's a great thing, but sometimes it leaves little "extra" time for yourself and your love of quilting. I think coopah's advice to set aside one day for yourself is awesome.
