I love my plastic hickory nut templates! I also use them to mark a simple design for my quilts with for quilting. To me things must be at least a duel duty item if it is so costly. By the way, they work great for what they are intended because you can fussy cut images because you are able to see through them to the fabric prints.
Would you be willing to share a photo of the templates? I am having trouble imaging them, and the link to them did not work, and using the search got me nowhere.
