I have been there numerous times but never taken a tour and am not sure what you mean. The village itself is quite a bit of walking but there are plenty of places to sit and such. It can easily be enjoyed without an organized group or leader. Each of the main buildings have presentations that are very interesting. We ate once in one of the taverns where they were serving a traditional colonial meal and I thought it was over priced for what you got and not that good. I have attended one of their plays and it was excellent so you might want to look into that. I love Wiliamsburg. It is truly a gem.
