I recently hung a large quilt behind a bed. I made the sleeve in several sections, and then used a plain extension rod (because that's what I had) and (4) 3-pound Command Hooks. The hooks were positioned in the gaps of the sleeve. It worked really well, and I can change out the quilt very easily.
I use curtain rod and hooks, whatever size needed, into drywall. Used those command things on several lite weight pic in house and after 3yrs they just dropped from the wall! Therefore, I don't trust them......in my world...into the wall, not on top!
