I purchased small lights with a battery pack for the Christmas tree quilt I completed last year and made tiny button holes in the tree and made a small pocket on the back to hold the battery pack. Put the lights through from the back and we hung it up over the mantle in the family room and it is on in the evening when we are in there. Hope this helps.
