Paper piecing is not that hard. There are many YouTube videos out there for it. One of the keys is to buy an add-a-quarter ruler. The inventor describes how to paper piece as she explains how to use the ruler. You don't have to have it, but it sure makes PP a lot easier. Judy Niemeyer suggests it for her patterns.
