This is a funny post for me. I remember how hard my mother would work, with her hand held potato masher, to make the mashed potatoes lump free and fluffy. She incorporated a lot of real home made butter in them and then artfully mounded them in a bowl with a big dollop of butter on top. Yum. I loved them. But all that work is probably why we didn't have them very often. Good memories.'
