Funny story about that quilt...I joined the mystery and loved the scrappy look, wanted to make it bigger, so I remembered this really awful class I had taken at a LQS which was also a scrappy, I had some of the blocks made from that class, and a Ton of scraps. (I tried to block out the bad experience and waste of $) So, I incorporated the 2 together and then had enough scraps left for the paper pieced border
I was very happy with the finished product and LOVEd getting to use up all of my scraps!
As far as my avatar, I had taken a quilting class trying to get us to think outside the box and see quilt patterns in everyday things. We were to bring in a few pics of what inspired us. I LOVE stained glass and took in a couple of those pics. This one (my avatar) is now on my bucket list. Maybe as soon as I get my UFOs done HAHA. No, it's not a pattern. I'm going to freehand it!
