I partially peel the apples; They will come out 1 round peeled; 1 round not peeled. Poke holes in them put in a pan, add some water, or apple juice, if you have it.
To get a nice Red color, I add Red food coloring, or Red Hots. Last, I add Tapioca to thicken the liquid to a sauce.
Bake abut 40 min. at350.
Let cool and serve as is, or with ice cream. A family favorite!!
