I paper pieced each individual block on my Bernina, then sewed them all together by hand in order to keep the points pointy. Then finished it off by hand quilting overlapping circles, to contrast with all the sharp edges of the piecing. I used an old-fashioned compass with a pencil to get the circles the exact size I wanted to encircle the blocks.
