One more question: does the machine require a wooden table for use or will it work okay on a sturdy hard plastic (think banquet - size 4 ft x 2 ft). I think it would work with a hard plastic table. That's what I used before I got my current SewEzi table (which I love!) The SewEzi is also a plastic table, and I don't notice shaking. I back it up against my desk for a larger work surface, and it doesn't clack against the desk or anything.
