We don't decorate until the day after Thanksgiving. We used to do it the a bit later, but then everyone was too busy with other projects except for that Friday. None of us wanted to go out in the shopping mess so we stayed in and decorated, just made a day of it. Last year with our two girls no longer home, my DH & I went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Las Vegas that weekend and didn't get our tree up for 10 days. Our schedule was thrown off so we decided not to do that again. Even it if is just the 2 of us, we prefer to keep our tradition.
