When I sew with fabrics hard to see, I place them on the table all face up or all face down and when I use them I pick it up the same way and put it in my fabric the same way...mechanical repetition...and try not to screw up...recently though I put a little piece of a label on the fabric face...so when I sewed the labels had to be looking at each other...
