I am a wood turner by hobby also, but not only rotational projects. I "turner" wood into things other than rounds and cylinders. I love recycling wood into useful objects such as tables, lamps, desk, vintage machine accessories, chairs, etc.. My wife said she wants me to make a bed for my shop, I said what for and she said that way I only need to come to the house for a shower and food
. Heck, I spent 2 years on my largest woodworking project ever-designing and building a 2200 sq. ft. home in the middle of the forest and by George, I will NEVER do that again !!
