Not thread bits in the bobbin area, not the tension adjustment on the bobbin case, and it wasn’t the thread catching in the notch on the spool, but thanks for making guesses.
Hint #4: The problem has been discussed here on QB in several threads, but it tends to be something that we forget about when trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with a machine that had been working fine just minutes ago....
