Several years ago I bought the Dazzling Dogs applique patterns by Amy Bradley designs. They are machine appliqued, easy to make and cute as can be. I made the poodle, only turned it into a male with a bow tie, the Chihuahua, the Schnauzer and the Yorkie--all easy. You might check
