More info. But it looks like it may be the spring? Long story short, I have a 2nd 117 machine. I pulled the spring out of that one to compare with mine. Photo below. The one in question is on the right, and I think significantly squished. Could that be the problem?
Where does one buy a "tension" Miriam? I am a total noob. Aren't they specific to the machine? Do you think I could just replace the spring?
