I just tried finding fusible fleece and ended up with Thermalom 971 I think. It seems a bit thin but I know i've used a fusible white fleece or something like it before in making snowmen quilt blocks. Now, i want to put a larger snowman on a quilt top. Will this Thermolam hold up in the wash and with handling. I will stitch it down but wondered about it getting ruined, fuzzy, etc.

well so far i've looked and looked. it seems like i will have to use white fabric after all.
Consider putting white bridal illusion over the the Thermalon 971, and stitching it down to protect it? You could make a sample and wash it a couple times to see if it works?
