I'm doing one in dark browns to light gold going out from an accent fabric of bubbles ( light to dark, bubble fabric, dark to light) which has been giving me a headache trying to figure out how to make the movement work. Just saw a pic of a bargello on a website where they added a sashing around the body of the quilt, then took strips of the same fabrics used 6-8" long and added that around the quilt body. Great way to use up the strips as I goofed when I estimated how much fabric I needed at the start of this project.

Can't wait to see your quilt when finished.
I may have made one (actually two, as I made a mirror image for two twin beds) that is in your colors. Let me see if I can find a picture, in case it helps. It is in browns and beiges. I just sort of started with the Serenity pattern and made it up as I went, adding more and more to make it larger. Mine was actually longer than necessary because I couldn't seem to eliminate some fabric choices and ended up using 3 more thanI really should have. It is 68 x 97. (This one won a first place ribbon at our quilt show in Oct.)
