Default My daughter likes to shop.

My daughter likes to shop thrift stores, GW, the army. Now and then she finds a machine that's for real.

This crop includes a green Kenmore 158, a white 158 1350, a Brother Charger 661, a green Merritt, a Dressmaker, and a Necchi with a broken plastic gear on the shaft. All of them need one or more parts like spool pins or tension assembly. The Brother needed a bobbin case and oil, its going to be my favorite machine.

I cleaned and oiled a Shark and its going back home with her. All that plastic case has to come off just to put some oil on that big gear. Its sewing perfectly now and I didn't have any screws left over. A plastic Singer and Kenmore don't really bear mentioning except for winding 15 bobbins.

She kept the twin to the white Kenmore at home and it has become her favorite machine. All I have to do is teach her how to clean and oil it.
