We haven't decorated for several years with the exception of last year. The kids are grown and gone - live across the country - and even the grandkids are grown with homes of their own. So we usually travel at Christmas time. No point in decorating. I do sometimes miss it. Last year we stayed home and hauled the tree (artificial) out of the rafters and discovered that it had fallen apart - so got a new tree. Had to decorate! Just to do justice to the new tree. Probably should have gotten a smaller one as the new one weighs 75 pounds and takes three men and a small boy to lift.
