I don’t see why you can’t FMQ on one, but if you do decide to FMQ on your Featherweight, you might want to consider removing the light bulb and use auxiliary lighting. Depending on how large your quilting item is that you’re quilting, the small throat space may cause a wad of your item to rest against the light for an extended period of time. Those light bulbs can get fairly hot.
