Here's something else that was posted on how to do step 2. This looks great to me. I just can't figure out how to know exactly where to put the black triangle. I am waiting for a reply from the person who posted.

I am doing step 2 using a base rectangle cut 2.5 x 4.5 and precut triangles. I lay the triangle on the rectangle and sew using the edge as a guide. Then I can check my block accuracy, trim the extra background piece out or not (one quilt book I has does not) No bias edges, templates, or lines to draw.

I printed a previous one that someone put on here with doing strips. It was 26 pages! Used up all my ink! Now I don't even plan on doing them that way. Live and learn!
