The only problem with freezer paper is that fusible will stick to it. Fusible does not stick to parchment paper.
I use two of the freezer paper pressing sheets, one on the top of the ironing board and one on top of the fabric. No problem if it does stick to the bottom paper, that's what the bottom paper is for. The top saves my iron.
