I like aurifil. I have piecesd two quilts one a baby and the other a lap size and I have a little less than half left. It lays very nice and I don't have a lot of lint in my machine. Mettler is iust not convinent for me to buy and I yhhnk it's expensive. I also don't yhink it's any better than gutterman.
For colors I have the gutterman in the small spools. That one we all know we can usually get on sale and its readily available to most of us.
My machine doesn't like coats and Clark really so that's why I didnt include it.
I am considering connecting threads but I just haven't placed an order yet. I am waiting till after the first of the year when I buy more fabric
What are your thoughts on thread? What thread do you use for FMQ?
