We lived in Austria for many years where anything Cobalt Blue was radioactive and, thus, not sold! Known fact! (Another known fact is that eating ice cream in the winter will give you stomach cancer) I learned some very unusual "known facts" that no one outside of Austria seems to know about.

We had to get the Cobalt Tiles for our bathroom remodel in Italy. The architect told us the house would be unsaleable ..... we sold to fellow Americans ..........

Meanwhile, when I did occasionally find Cobalt Glass in a thrift store, it was dirt cheap!
