Thank you to everyone who posted about this! I just finished what is only my 4th quilt and had decided on straight lines for the quilting. At first I tried just using the guide bar with my machine, but the results weren't good so I spent a little time picking out all those stitched. Got brave and tried marking the lines with the Crayola Ultra Washable Markers. So much easier and a much, MUCH better finished product. I finished binding the quilt this morning and it just came out of the washer - absolutely no trace of the marker :-D It's a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law and I'm thrilled! You guys rock!
