Not for giggles, but a very unusual machine on that auction site that will probably sell for the price. I’ve never seen one of these, and I doubt that I will see many more. It’s a
Singer 29K71 Centennial on a Singer Convertible Straight Leg Stand.
The stand is the most interesting to me. I wish I knew if it came from Singer, or was assembled with parts from other stands. It appears that the foot pedal is a replacement and the 2-piece treadle pitman rod and crank has been removed, but everything else appears to be there to switch between treadle and electric power.
