Hi my name is Nancy,
I have been quilting for 20+ years not an expert by any means. Never took a formal class learned through TV quilt shows and reading every library book on quilting I could find.
We moved to Kentucky from the Chicago area in December 2007 and with the sale of the house I was able to get a longarm machine which sadly I have not had much of an opportunity to use due to work.
A friend sent me a link to this site today and I am hoping this is the year I can get back to actively making quilts and getting in some swaps. I stopped swapping about 2 years ago prior to our move and seems like the quilting slowed down as well almost to a stop so I need to get back into swaps as it also helped motivate me to get to doing some of my own projects.
Even though I have been quilting for years I have no quilts to call my own as all the ones I have made have gone to family and as gifts but one of my goals this year is to actually use the longarm and make some quilts for us.
