I used it for some books of home decorating fabrics I received. They were attached to paper to keep them from raveling. So I pinked the edges. It worked to prevent raveling. I think I will hand wash them.

I wouldn't use it on general quilt cuts, because I would worry about the seams. If you have a particular fabric that ravels a lot, you could try a very lightweight stabilizer or interfacing.
