I do lots of fleece blankets for Project Linus and use the pinking blade for the appliques. I cut tons of fleece, and I use a half worn out mat exclusively for fleece. Whenever I need to replace my "good" mat, the older one replaces the fleece mat. Therefore, I always have 2 mats going.
