I have had a Low Cost Proctor-Silex steam iron for Years and it works fine.. I was looking at a Rowenta and couldn't justify the Cost.... I remember my Mom used to save Rain Water for her Iron... I use Tap Water, and unplug EVERYTIME when done using it...( its in a Surge Bar too.)
