Actually the needle plates and bobbin covers on the 77 are much bigger than those on the DRESSMASTER (127). The shir plates and the Picoting / Hemstitcher needle plate will not interchange either.
I was wrong about the machine bases. They are the same length (17 3/8"), the 77 is 8 5/8" wide while the DRESSMASTER (127) is 9" wide.
The bed on the 77 is bigger than the 127 but the head of the 127 is much larger with more room under the arch than the 77. It's confusing to the eyes looking at them when they are side by side.
All the other accessories and attachments; button holler, feet, ruffler, and other things will interchange.
