The card table will take up more space than a person thinks. The top is 32 inches square, plus the legs on the Singer card table project outward from top to bottom, giving the table good stability, but be ready to trip over them when you walk around it. It makes it so that you can’t set it up tight to a wall either.

If you’re short on room, I’d go with a small Singer electric cabinet. The top (closed) on some of the small ones is only 16”x22”, but some of them are straddle-legged like the card table, so watch for that. You can remove the flip-over extension top and store it away to make even a smaller foot-print.
